The room is better suited to those with sociable working hours or days. I work part-time in the education sector and my housemate is a local GP. Even better, WFH downstairs a few days a week can be accommodated.

As a live-in landlord, I’ve also lived in shared houses with and without a live-in landlord myself, whereby I have real-world appreciation and understanding of what it’s like to be a lodger. - The room is for sleeping, the house is for respectfully living
