Large Double Room in Gorgeous Burley

Looking for a new room mate for the largest room in our Burley Back-to-back terraced house. We want someone friendly, sociable, lefty and cool. The room is 500 a month, and the bills come to around 100 a month (incl. twice weekly milkman!) wERRE Really stylish and chic and really funny. Full disclosure, we are a couple that are engaged, don't apply for this if you hate lesbians. x We have an allotment at Burley Model Lotties. x

George (reluctant they/themmer) has lived in the house for just over 3 years, they're a practicing artist currently doing a practice-based PhD at Uni of Leeds. Usually out of the house at the studio, (serf, above Wharf) in town during the week. They like cooking, dancing, reading and they're a Bruce Springsteen superfan. George has also cultivated a beautiful front garden full of plants that is a total sun trap in the afternoons. Very up for BBQing but could also teach you how to lift weights :) George believes the most radical thing that they can do is have a good time.

Em (she/hur) lived in wetherby for 1y+. em works as an Art Teacher in secondary educationn (9-5), also a practicing painter at assembly house. Loves drinking wine and the occasional poker cigar. Dry, blue and obtuse humour. born and bread yorkshirem'n. em have tourettes. em is outspoken.

We are looking for someone who loves Leeds as much as we do, likes a nice pint of bitter and a gossip. Being vegan or vege is obviously fine, we eat meat for health reasons, we do not comment on other people's eating habits (PLS x) Long or short stay is OK, our bedrooms are the top floor, so there is some degree of privacy, even though the house is compact. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO PRACTICES THIER POLITICS (TAKING THE BINS OUT WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL)
We engage in the Sunday reset as a routine so we all start the week in a clean and comfortable house - often followed by a little calm down pint or gym session. There is a basement for storage, but it is damp and annoying x

No private schoolers, no terfs, no swerfs, no tories (obviously). If you are posh we WILL find out x best to just own it x C ya soon? x
