Large double room with a NEW king-size bed + mattress, two wardrobes and a proper desk/work-from-home setup.

SINGLE ROOM
Quiet, comfortable and cosy — ideal if you prefer your own space.

📅 FLEXIBLE & SHORT-TERM FRIENDLY

No need to commit to a long contract. Stays from 1–6 months are welcome, with longer stays possible if it's a good fit.

💸 DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

• 10% off short stays of up to 1–2 months for students and couples.
• Extra discount may be available if you're a brilliant cook or naturally good at keeping shared spaces tidy — good energy and a helping hand around the house are genuinely appreciated!

🏠 LET'S BE HONEST ABOUT THE HOUSE...

It's an older house with real retro/vintage character. It's not polished or ultra-modern, and it's honestly crying out for a little love — but everything works, it's clean, spacious and comfortable ground floor, and there's plenty of room to make your own space feel like home.

Viewing is a must, so you can see the house for yourself and know exactly what you're signing up for. 😊

The house has a LARGE SITTING ROOM, giving everyone plenty of space to relax, watch films, have dinner or just hang out.

There's also a SPACIOUS KITCHEN with plenty of room for cooking together. Depending on the occasion, we can easily have 2–3 separate eating areas, so there's flexibility whether you're eating together or want your own space.

💷 BILLS

During the colder months, there's a £100/month allowance covering gas, electricity and water. Anything above this is shared fairly between the tenants.

In practice, this is usually around £15–£50 extra per person per month during the heating season, depending on usage.

Students are exempt from council tax where applicable.

👋 THE HOUSE VIBE

The house is currently home to two lovely housemates — a PhD student and a doctor in training — in a 3-bedroom house.

The atmosphere is generally calm, tidy and goal-focused. Everyone has their own life and does their own thing, but we're also happy to share a pizza, grab a coffee, have a pint or enjoy some cake on a lazy weekend. 🍰

No party house, no drama — just people who get along and respect each other's space.

🚭 SMOKING & VAPING

Smoking/vaping isn't allowed upstairs. There is a well-ventilated area downstairs, as well as the kitchen and both yards where it can be done.

🌱 WHO WOULD FIT IN?

If you're open-minded, tidy, responsible and have something you're working towards, you'll probably fit right in.

Creative people especially welcome. ✨

Couples are welcome too — there's a small additional charge of £130, but we're happy to discuss the details.
