Hi my name is Desi and I’m looking for a friendly female flatmate to share my lovely apartment in Leeds Dock. I’m hoping to find someone who isn’t just looking for somewhere to sleep, but would actually enjoy having a friendly home together.

I’m sociable and love going out for walks, exploring new places and trying new restaurants/cafés, but I also absolutely love a cosy night in, cooking, watching something together and having a chilled evening.

I work in nutrition and work from home 3 days a week, so I’m around the flat quite a lot during the week. I’m looking for someone friendly, respectful and clean who is happy to have their own space but would also be up for doing things together occasionally.

About the flat

The apartment is in the beautiful Leeds Dock development, right on the waterfront and only around 10 minutes’ walk from Leeds city centre.

It’s a fully furnished apartment with a balcony and lots of great amenities right on the doorstep, including cafés, restaurants, bars, a gym, yoga studio and Tesco Express. There’s also a concierge and lift in the development.

It’s a really nice balance between being close to everything but still feeling a little more peaceful than living directly in the city centre.

The room

The available room is a furnished double room with access to the shared living room/kitchen/balcony. The bedroom that is taken has an en suite, so the other bathroom would be all yours.

The apartment is fully furnished and the kitchen/living area is shared.

A little about the ideal flatmate

I’d ideally like to live with another female around a similar stage of life who is friendly, considerate and clean. Someone who enjoys having a chat and doing things together sometimes, but also understands that we both have our own lives and need our own space.

If you’re the kind of person who would be up for a spontaneous walk, exploring somewhere new, grabbing food/drinks together or having a cosy night in watching Netflix, we could be a good match! 😊
