Double spare room available for a maximum of 6 months in the peaceful village of Pecket Well, just above Hebden Bridge — around a 20-minute walk to the centre.

I live in a 2-story, 2-bed duplex as the only tenant. Everything has been ok’d with the landlord . The room is currently part way through being redecorated, but will be furnished with double bed , bedding, double clothes rail, drawers, standing mirror, lamp, rug. There is also a large understairs cupboard that can be used for extra storage.

I’ll be away for 7 weeks during spring/summer, so you would have full use of the house (excluding my bedroom) during that time, which is reflected in the price. Otherwise, I work from home 4 days a week, and while I’m very friendly and sociable , I really like my quiet time and a calm, relaxed home, so I’d prefer someone who is calm and respectable and enjoys a similar peaceful atmosphere.

The house is surrounded by moorland and woodland, with amazing views and sunsets and is close to swimming spots and walking routes. There’s a communal outside patio with a bench and fire pit.

I enjoy painting, reading, being outdoors and singing/socialising , so if you share any of those interests, you’ll feel right at home.
