Fantastic Double Room in Saltaire

Saltaire is a real hidden gem in Bradford with its World heritage site, vibrant shops, bars, pubs and fantastic transport links to Leeds and beyond!

The room available is a large furnished double room (approx. 4x4m) with a lovely view out into the Aire valley and at Salt Mill (see 3rd photo). There is a shared bathroom next to the room as well as a basement where you can store more belongings if you wish.

The thing that people like about the house is the amount of natural light there is, general homely feel and great location.

The house is a 5 minutes walk to Saltaire train station and 10 minutes to Shipley. Here you can get trains to Leeds in 11-17 minutes and even get direct trains to London.

A Co-op and Tesco express are less than 5 minutes walk away with large Lidl, Aldi and ASDA stores just a few minutes drive or 10 minutes walk. Equally, there are lots of independent stores such as bakery’s, butchers and grocers in Saltaire.

There are a number of great pubs and restaurants nearby, with Fanny’s ale house, Cap n Collar and Salt Bar being particular favourites of ours. Robert’s park next to the Aire valley is great for running or chilling in the summer whilst watching the cricket.

There is plenty of on street parking with no permit required as the house is situated on a private road. Park street has recently been pedestrianised at the top making it nice and quiet despite the central location.

Two other rooms will become available over the rest of the year and I would love it if the new lodger is part of the process of finding another lodger (and future ones also!).

I’ve lived in shared houses for over 10 years so I know the importance of getting on with those you live with.
