Quiet Spare Room availble amongst the Stones

Do you ever feel like a stone circle, ancient burial mound or Silbury Hill is calling you? Well if you like Megolithmania, then I have a home that might suit you!!
Avebury Trusloe is a small hamlet connected to Avebury via ancient wayfaring paths and the Beckhampton Avenue. Its peaceful and quiet, an easy place to live. 10 mins walk down to High St, shops and Red Lion pub.
The 'world' is easily accessed though - a 3 mins walk from the Bus Stop *49 which runs to Swindon which is next the mainline railway station. There are spaces to park on the green and on the road, but there is no drive (or road) in front of this home.
The room is 'Emily's Room' as I call it, a double with a very comfy bed, newly decorated and carpeted with D&R wool berber carpet. It s energetically clear !!
There is a desk, a set of drawers, a built in wardrobe and bedside cabinet, blinds, heating etc.
Wifi is great!
I am a Geography Teacher, nearly 60, and I teach from home. I am in most days, so I am hoping to find someone who is 'out' working! Its hard when two of us are 'working from home.'
It might be different if the lodger was writing or had a quiet job !! I say this as I tried earlier this year with a Therapist and her talking online and me teaching online - was not great!! Just being honest as to what works!

The house has been completely refurbished in 2026 with new everything!! I am hoping to find someone who likes a place to be very clear, clean and minimalist!
The home is available for you to use, kitchen etc is fully available- own fridge and cupboards etc. I really need someone who respects where we are, loves Avebury and will look after this home gently.

My mother is 81 and lives up north, I will be away frequently staying with her and fulfilling caring duties. At these times, you will have the house to yourself. There will be other times where my adult children come to visit (rare weekends around the sabbats usually) Just saying - family life continues. Just very differently !!
