King room + second room in large house

NOTE: The actual room I’m renting is quite a bit bigger than the one in the video but I am currently getting the room ready for photos and has far more wardrobe space. It has an en-suite in the room which is slightly smaller than the bathroom in the video and only has a shower rather than a bath. The secondary room that comes with it is also slightly bigger than the office shown in the video. I wanted to get the ad up and can send pictures to people who enquire / show the space on viewing but just needs decorating first.

Master (king) room (king sized bed) available to rent from summer with own en-suite shower in a spacious detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac in North Swindon. It also comes with another smaller room to use as a home office or something similar within reason such as a lounge, closet, craft room or yoga room etc. So both rooms will be exclusively yours. Large living space shared only one other person and beautiful spacious garden. Guaranteed parking on driveway. Available around August time but exact dates to be agreed and there is some flexibility.

The space: The room will come equipped with a king sized bed (bedding and towels included), drawers / wardrobe / bedside cabinets and smart TV. En-suite has a shower, sink and toilet. The second smaller room is also on the same floor, and can be used as something appropriate such as a home office.

The rent will include council tax, gas, electric, water and broadband. It will also include a weekly cleaner for shared spaces and vacuuming of your rooms. Also a monthly clean of your bathroom / room but rest of the time you just keep it clean.

Shared spaces: There is a large kitchen with a gas hob, double oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle and toaster. The utility area has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a main lounge with large French bay doors overlooking the garden and a small snug at the front of the house. The rear garden wraps around the back of the house and has a large patio with a comfortable outdoor table with a fireplace in the centre of the table. There is also a firepit outside. It’s a south facing garden so gets plenty of sun. The garden is not overlooked so you get plenty of privacy. There is a driveway with enough space for 2 cars without blocking each other so you get a guaranteed space.

Location: The house is located very close to the Orbital Retail Park which has an Asda superstore including fuel station, Lidl, Starbucks, Costa, Cafe, Next, New Look, M&S, River Island, JD Sports and McD’s. You are also right next to the Blunsdon Arms pub and close to other pubs. Within 10-15mins drive you can get to plenty of other parts of Swindon including the Designer Outlet, Brunel Shopping Centre, Old Town, Lydiard Park and Coate Water.

The Lodger: Looking for one lodger (no couples) who is looking for a quiet place to relax and will be respectful of living in my house. Ideally someone who is looking to rent for a year. I may visit or stop by on rare occasions, maybe once every 4-6 weeks so I’ll hardly be there.

Note that although this is listed as a 4 bedroom house, I will only ever have one other lodger at a time living here so this won’t be a house with more than 2 people living in it at a time.
