Dear Home Seeker,

We are looking for a house mate to join us in our friendly shared home in Trowbridge.

Our ideal housemate is a single, full-time employed, non-smoker who is happy to contribute to a harmonious environment.

With you, there are four housemates sharing in double rooms plus Landlord’s accommodation. We have a shared TV lounge, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom and separate shower room, both with toilets. We have full fiber WIFI coverage and all bills included.

The house is centrally located in Trowbridge with easy access to all amenities and within a 10 min walk of the train station. The property has retained many of its original features with some exposed beams, stone flagstones, wood cabinets and a wood burner in the dining room, making for a very cosy environment.

The double bedroom is spacious, recently refurbished, carpeted, and with a double bed with new mattress, desk, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The rent is £600 per month which includes all bills and cleaning of shared areas. A month’s deposit will also be required.

I want you to feel at home here and for us to live in a mutually supportive, respectful manner.

Personally, I love music of all sorts, walking, gardening and outdoor pursuits. how about you?

Hi, my name is Bill and I have been renting in Ashton Street for about a year and a half now. This has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. The house is comfortable, clean with great facilities for cooking and a separate dining room. Very handy bathroom and separate shower room if that is your preference – both with a loo. Bedrooms are roomy and the house is on a quiet street so no problems sleeping. Housemates are quiet and very pleasant, and I have never had any drama or hassle. Our landlord Mike is one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet. I think you would go a long way to find a rental as good as this house!

My stay at Ashton Street was excellent I only moved because I found a place of my own! Mike is a kind thoughtful and generous landlord. He had carefully chosen a team that synchronised well together, so we all shared with ease, nevertheless being available and making sure that any glitches were swiftly but gently dealt with. The rental price is more than fair for not only the room (clean, refurbished) but also includes fantastic extras: an extremely warm cosy house in the winter, a very efficient clothes dryer, a thorough weekly clean of the house, internet, Netflix and satellite TV, cleaning products for daily use (washing up, tea towels, loo paper etc) and a joyful weekly touch of fresh flowers!

For me number 37 will always hold a special place in my heart as it has always felt like home from the moment I moved in.
Living with predominantly men at the time I never felt unsafe and Mike made sure that all my needs were met, living with multiple occupants can have its challenges but I knew if I had any issues I could speak to Mike and he would always try to resolve the problem or come up with a solution.
I was broken when I moved into number 37 and thanks to Mike, Rosie and my roommates I never felt lonely, instead I took away fond memories of sitting by the fire watching movies eating a Chinese, Rosie‘s famous Christmas dinners and flaming puddings, watching Mike's firework shows and him running for his life, music nights with the harmonica. It was like we became a little family but I knew if I needed space I could always shut my door and my privacy was respected.

I've absolutely loved my time at No. 37. The housemates are incredibly friendly, and everyone is respectful, considerate, and easy to live with. Despite being a shared house, it often feels like you have the place to yourself thanks to the peaceful atmosphere.
The house is exceptionally well set up, with two kitchens, two bathrooms, a cozy living room, and a welcoming dining area. What really stands out, though, is the amount of space on offer—especially in the bedrooms, which are generously sized and provide plenty of storage.
Considering everything that's included, No. 37 offers outstanding value and is easily one of the best options you'll find in the local area. On top of that, Mike is a fantastic landlord: approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the house a great place to live.
I couldn't recommend No. 37 highly enough. More than anything, it feels like a home rather than just a place to stay—and that's what makes it so special.
