We are looking for quiet, friendly tenants (a single person or a couple) for our first floor one-bedroomed flat in our converted 2-storey coach house on the outskirts of Cradley village, near Worcester. There are 2 flats in total, which are attached to the main house in which we live; each is fully self-contained with its own front door. The ground floor flat has been occupied for 6 years by a friendly young couple.
The flat for rent is fully furnished and ready to occupy from mid-March 2024; and would suit either a single person or couple but is unsuitable for children or babies.
. The rent is £738 pcm inclusive of gas, electricity and water. Band A rated Council Tax is payable by the tenant. A deposit of one month's rent will be payable in advance to secure the tenancy and will serve as a security deposit.
The flat is really spacious, consisting of one big bedroom with ensuite tiled shower room, and attractive open plan kitchen/dining/lounge which has a vaulted, beamed ceiling. The bedroom is carpeted and has a king-size (5ft) bed, built-in double wardrobe, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers; the shower room is tiled and has a large shower, toilet and wash basin; the fully fitted kitchen/diner has wood laminate flooring, tall fridge-freezer, washer-drier, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob and cooker hood with external extraction, and table with 4 chairs. The Lounge is fully carpeted and has a 3-pce suite, TV, TV cabinet and coffee table. There is plenty of additional cupboard storage and the kitchen has a good selection of pans, electrical appliances, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. It is a warm, insulated flat with gas central heating.
Access to the flat is private to the tenant only and up carpeted stairs within the flat itself.
The location is semi-rural; we are surrounded by fields and have very good neighbours. There is a bus stop conveniently situated at the end of the drive for buses to Ledbury and Worcester, but having your own car would be preferable, for which there is adequate off-road parking for 1 or 2 cars. Cradley is an extremely friendly, active village with lots of clubs and activities and our new tenants will be assured a very warm welcome if they wish to take part in village activities.
We, the owners, live in the adjoining house and are friendly, experienced, flexible landlords; we have a very friendly border collie dog. We used to run a holiday cottage business, so are accustomed to having other people living on-site.
