Spacious, light double room in 2 bed flat

Lovely double room to rent with plenty of natural light, overlooking the garden.

The flat is a split level flat in a Victorian terrace house and has a large garden (with indirect access). As its split level it feels like a house especially as it has sole use of the front door! There is free parking on the street outside the flat.

The flat is finished to a high spec and has a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and nespresso machine!). We also have a weekly cleaner and virgin tv.

The room is available at the end of December but I can be slightly flexible on this. I am initially looking to rent the room for 6 months with the option to extend if it works for us both.

About me

I am a 31 year old professional working in the city. I am looking for a female flatmate of a similar age. Someone who is friendly, considerate and tidy and who I can enjoy a glass of wine with infront of the TV now and again. I am really keen to keep the flat as a home rather than an anonymous flat share but this also isn't the flat for house parties!

Local area and transport

The flat is on a quiet street just off Peckham Rye park. The bus stop to Peckham Rye train station is a 2 minute walk away and all buses from that stop go to Peckham Rye station in 10 minutes. Alternatively you can walk. Trains from Peckham Rye go direct to St Pancras (25 mins), London Bridge (10 mins), Shoreditch High Street (20 mins), Clapham (15 mins), Victoria (15 mins), Canada Water (8 mins) plus many more.

Lots of lovely pubs nearby (including one at the end of the street), plenty of new restaurants in Peckham Rye and 5 minute walk to a local Tescos.

Lordship Lane is also on the doorstep with plenty of independent shops, even more restaurants and pubs and a picturehouse cinema.
