Double Room in Luxury Apartment with Gardens

This amazing room is best suited for someone looking to live a healthy and peaceful life in a stunning part of the countryside on the edge of the Lake District.

The penthouse is within an historic manor house, set in 6 acres of private gardens. The house is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within the peaceful village of Yealand Conyers.

There are incredible walks, woodland and sea views nearby, beautiful flowered gardens, birdsong, and wildlife all around including deer that frequent the gardens.

There is an award winning pub in the village (The New Inn), just 5 minutes' walk away. The Lake District fells are close by if you enjoy hillwalking and there is easy access to Lancaster (15 mins), Kendal (15-20 mins) and the M6 motorway (5 mins) if you have a commute.

The room is a large double room in a luxury penthouse apartment. There is both a bedroom area and dressing area which includes a large hardwood desk and stunning views overlooking the private walled garden.

You would be sharing with myself (I'm Chris, aged 41, I run my own company called Adventure Solos) and my flatmate Claudia (31, of Italian origin, moved here via London and works in Lancaster). We're clean, tidy, respectful and sometimes socialise as a flat with a walk around the village, visit to the the local pub, quiz night or board game.

The apartment has a main bathroom which would be shared between yourself and Claudia, as my room has an ensuite.

Rent includes cleaners, gardeners, B4RN fibre broadband, water, gas, electric, council tax, parking, and all 'communal consumables' such as toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, sponges, tin foil etc.

Please note that the apartment is my home so I am very selective about who I live with. Messages with no effort (for example, asking only asking if the room is still available) or if accept smokers, families, pets or short term lets will all be politely declined.
