Looking for homely share

I’m currently looking to move in with some good folk. Available from mid May-July.

I’m Greg, 32
Recently been living in my own flat but looking for a more sociable change. As I’ve been in multiple good shares over the years I’m in a search for such a happy place where I can feel welcomed and be a welcome host. Spiritually speaking, I do not feel the same energy of being nestled in only my own given space, which I have lockdown to thank for, yet I am positively hopeful of finding the surroundings and company that will spark new growth in me making meaningful change.

Going back to sharing for a moment; that what I do share, or my part to play in a warm household/home is in keeping the place sound, clean and respectfully bright whilst being the best version of myself I can be. The home we share would be the best it can be :)

I’m a calm considered type who takes the time to keep on top of shared responsibilities as well as my own.
Looking for considerate others who enjoy passing the time in company alike who also share very similar interests: Art (all forms), music, growing with nature as nature intends (gardens!), etc etc.. sharing their days events here and there, over a brew or just hanging around when they’ve some spare time. Any down time is good time!

A note about me now: I’m now in my early thirties, I work full time hours throughout the week (out of the house as an early riser). I do like to return to a quiet sanctuary (or a least, a zone to that I can designate for a few hours). But am looking to discover new things and venture out with sociable housemates.

I enjoy spending my time outdoors and in my surrounding communities. I often offer my hands to helping schemes and causes that do good for the inter-bustling cultures and people of south Manchester. Like volunteering at Platt Fields, rewilding our green spaces. My landscape is quite literally open to calling at anyone’s door who needs an extra hand! (I work as a postie!)

I enjoy topical conversation on matters close to heart including, art and culture and its found place in society (& all that jazz), exploring new found places and events. Challenging my beliefs and thought processes to a degree that I’d feel comfortable being viewed as someone open and engaged in the present world we all live in.

P. S. just to add, I have some amazing houseplants that require more love from more people than just myself! That’s not to say I don’t attend to them, I just feel they aren’t as appreciated as they could be :))

Preferably I’d like us to be wholly respectful of one another’s boundaries when it comes to each’s personal space and all that comes with living together :)

I want a houseshare that deals well with fair duties by clear comms and effective managing of shared costs, (simply chipping in -in a precise and consistent kind of way) & including the time spent on upkeep of a happy and functioning household. That’s my only fundamental base line. We don’t have to gel on every subject thrown into the mix but to have a mix /mixing is always the best way! And to own the space for each other as much as ourselves is a must.
