I am moving to Australia for a year (or more!) and looking for someone to take my room as soon as possible.
About the house:
Juliette, 26, French. Loves to cook you food and initiate family meals and honestly is the best human ever. Colin & Mel, late 20s, Aussie couple and super sweet and sociable. They actually are heading home in Feb so you can upgrade to their room in future.
The house has a kitchen-lounge area with TV, couch, dining table for 4, washing machine, dishwasher and all the usual mod cons.
There is a balcony which gives a decent view of London where I like to enjoy a glass of wine.
There is also 2 bathroom with toilet and showers - so you will never need to wait!
About the room:
The room has a double bed, side table, 3 full length wardrobes, big window and ledge next to the bed and secret storage!
About the area:
The room is a 15 min walk between Tooting Broadway (northern line) & Earlsfield (which takes you to Clapham junction, Vauxhall and Waterloo). There are also 3 buses which leaves from outside the house and take you to the stations and beyond.
Tooting Broadway has: Primark, New Look, Hollands & Barrett, Poundland, Iceland, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Wilko and so much more. Earlsfield has some pretty amazing brunch spots and awesome outdoor pubs. 10 minutes from Earlsfield you have Southside shopping centre in Wandsworth and the biggest Sainsbury's ever.
Rent:
Rent is £450 a month; which includes bills and £420 for bond.
You:
You need to be clean. Seriously. The main bathroom and kitchen / lounge area's are compact and honestly takes an hour to thoroughly it but also means it looks messy very easily. There is no cleaning rota so we just clean up as we go and take turns mopping and taking out the rubbish.
You will also need to enjoy flat dinners and the occasional wine and catch up with the other housemates.
It is a great flat for a great price and an awesome place to unwind at the end of the day.
