Double room in Clapham ground floor flat

Hey, I’m Julia. I’m looking for a new lodger/future friend for my spare room.

I'd like to find someone warm and sociable who I gel well with and can get to know properly. Ideally someone who has plenty of their own stuff going on like I do, but down to watch a show, have a glass of wine or do the odd local activity together (not an anonymous houseshare vibe!) I'm also after someone clean and considerate and up for helping me take good care of the space.

About me: I work in marketing mostly from home, and I’m into my music, fitness, art, history, food and travel. I generally like a peaceful home for winding down, but have friends over from time to time.

The flat is on the ground floor of a converted victorian house on the edge of Clapham Old Town and about 15 minutes walk from Battersea Park. Nearby transport links include Queenstown Rd (national rail), Clapham Common (northern line), Wandsworth Road (overground) and easy buses into Vauxhall, Waterloo and Victoria.

The flat has 3 bedrooms but one of them is used as a home office which I use most of the week - but you're very welcome to when I'm out at the office. It's been recently renovated to a high standard (herringbone floors, new kitchen and extension with skylights, freestanding bathtub). The room available is a bright, comfortable double with a bed that has built-in storage, a big window and fitted cupboards. There is also space for a wardrobe and a small desk.

The flat has a good amount of storage, a small south-facing paved garden which gets the sun and a back gate perfect for bike access. It also has on-street parking right outside with a permit available if you drive.

All bills included. Long or shorter lets considered.
