Double Room to Rent in Friendly, Professional Household

We are a professional couple (31 & 33), Northern Irish and Polish, looking for a like-minded housemate to join our relaxed and welcoming home.

I work Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm as a Project Manager, and my partner is an engineer working alternating early and late shifts. We have two very friendly Border Collies, so a dog-lover is essential 🐾.

We also have a wonderful 7-year-old daughter/step-daughter who stays with us every other weekend and comes over on weeknights alternating weeks but doesn't sleep over during the week.

The room comes fully furnished and includes:

* Double bed
* Smart TV
* Bedside lights
* Clothes rack
* Drawers
* Under-bed storage

There is a fully equipped kitchen and additional storage space available in the loft.

Working from home is absolutely fine, provided you set up a desk in your bedroom. Due to our shift patterns, we’d like to keep downstairs areas accessible during the day.

We won't be accepting anyone who is unemployed unfortunately.

We’re open to discussing pets depending on the type and temperament, but unfortunately cats may not be suitable, as our dogs haven’t been around cats before and may chase. Any small pets that can stay in your room is fine.

We enjoy hiking, dog walks, cooking, and weekend trips away in our camper van. We’re sociable, laid-back, and want someone who feels comfortable treating the house as a home.

You’re welcome to use the garden and BBQ and invite friends over. For larger gatherings, we just ask for advance notice and that they’re kept to weekends. During the week, partners and visitors are more than welcome.
