Beautiful thatched cottage in the prettiest part of Newport. A stone’s throw from all the local amenities, including the village shop, the Indian restaurant, the pharmacy and two pubs. The station (which runs on the Cambridge to London liverpool St line), is a five minute walk.

The house has two double bedrooms and a single. The house is most suitable as a two bed, with the third single room used as an office and/or dressing room. We always used it as our dressing room, with a single bed that friends could stay in if visiting.

All mod cons. Gas central heating. Parking outside for one car and plenty of other spaces up by the church for visitors.

The thatch was replaced in 2018, so it’s new and keeps the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

The house is unfurnished, though we can furnish it with a sofa and table, if required.

The garden is glorious, catching the sun all day long. It’s also not overlooked by the neighbours (who are lovely) at all.

It’s an ideal house for a professional couple or a new family. We spent six very happy years here and hope to find someone who will love it like it’s their own.
