Spacious room available in Balham

I’m looking for someone to take over my room in our lovely four-bedroom house in Balham.

Move-in date: 22nd September (however, there may be some flexibility to move in earlier)

Rent: £1,195 per month (plus bills of approximately £100 per month)

Room/House 🏡 The room is a bright and spacious double with a large bay window that lets in plenty of natural light throughout the day. It has built-in storage, including two double wardrobes and additional storage above the wardrobes, so there's loads of space for clothes and belongings.

The room will come with the bed frame, but as the house was unfurnished when we moved in, any other furniture will be going with me.

The house itself is spacious and has a really homely feel. There's a separate living room, a large open-plan kitchen and dining area, and patio doors leading out to a lovely garden. 

Tenancy 🗓️ The tenancy extends until August 2027.

Location 📍 The house is in a great location just off Tooting Common, which is less than a five-minute walk away. Balham station is around a 15–20 minute walk away, Streatham Hill station is approximately 15 minutes on foot, and there are several bus routes within a five-minute walk of the house.

Housemates 👯‍♀️- You'll be living with three lovely girls: Lauren (27), Chloe (25) and Meg (24).

We’re looking for someone who’s friendly, easy-going, and looking to build genuine friendships. We enjoy making the most of London, whether that’s trying new restaurants, going for walks, heading to the gym or a yoga/Pilates class. We also love the occasional cheeky drink, house dinner, or binge-watching a TV series together. If you’re tidy, considerate, communicative, and happy to do your bit around the house, we think you’ll fit in really well!

Age range: 25-28

Unfortunately, we aren't able to accept students as part of the tenancy changeover process, and standard referencing checks will be required by the landlord.
