Double room in cosy flat - cats included 🐾

I’m looking for a friendly, considerate flatmate to move into my lovely 2-bed flat from the beginning of September. It would be great to share with a female flatmate as I’m looking to make more female friends in London.

The flat has a really nice atmosphere - calm and cosy most of the time, but we also enjoy having a laugh, hanging out together, watching TV, and the occasional get-together or party. It’s important to me that it feels like a flatmate dynamic rather than a landlord/tenant situation - mutual respect, easy communication, and looking after the place together.

About the flat:
- Quiet, relaxed home
- 2 friendly cats (so you must like cats and not have allergies)
- My current flatmate doesn’t allow the cats in his bedroom (and they respect this well!). But this is up to you
- Cleaner every 2 weeks (included in rent)
- Non-smoking flat
- Desk & chair in the room – great for WFH
- Rent: £1000 all inclusive

About me:
I’m a 45-year-old gay man and work as a social work manager. I work Monday–Friday, 9–5, usually in the office a couple of days a week. I enjoy a chilled home, good chats, shared laughs and the odd TV session together. Home is my calm base, but I also like the occasional social evening.

What I’m looking for:
- Friendly, respectful, emotionally intelligent person
- Someone who enjoys a calm home but is also up for the occasional social evening
- Happy with friends/partners staying over occasionally (same from me - usually no more than a couple of nights a week, and we give each other a heads-up)
- Works regular hours (ideally Mon–Fri)
- Tidy and takes pride in shared space
- Cat lover 🐱
