Newly renovated apartment in beautiful Rotherhithe – £1,800 pcm

I’m looking for a lovely person (or couple) to make my newly renovated two-bedroom flat in Rotherhithe their home while I’m living abroad.

The flat is bright, spacious and full of character, with river views, a newly installed kitchen and new floors throughout. It’s in a really lovely little community, with great neighbours and, importantly, about a one-minute walk from what I maintain is the best pub in London.

You’ll have your own bedroom and essentially have the flat to yourself most of the time. The second bedroom is mine, but while I’m away you’re very welcome to use it as a workspace. I may stay at the flat when I’m back in London a couple of times a year, generally just for a very short number of nights.

Transport is excellent: Rotherhithe Overground is nearby, Canada Water is on the Jubilee line, and you can be in central London in around 20 minutes.

I’m ideally looking for someone who will treat the place as their own home rather than just somewhere to stay — and, as you can probably tell from the photos, someone willing to help keep my slightly excessive collection of plants alive would be particularly appreciated!

£1,800 pcm, with bills charged according to usage. Available from the start of November for a single person or couple (could also accommodate a start as early as 25th Oct). Ideally looking for someone for around a year, with the possibility of extending. Two months’ notice.
