🏡 BIG DISCOUNT FOR A QUICK LET – A LOVELY FLAT WITH A GENUINELY HANDS-ON PRIVATE LANDLORD!

A gorgeous, modern 2-bed flat in Bow (E3) - Zone 2, offered at a fantastic price. You could pay more for a similar one-bed elsewhere in London!

A little about me (your landlord)

Full disclosure: this flat actually belongs to me, and it was my own home for many years before I got married and we moved further out to Zone 4 to start a family.

There are plenty of properties available to rent at the moment, but I hope you'll find that this one is a little different. I'm not an absent landlord or an agent managing hundreds of properties. I own just two rental properties, and I genuinely care about the people living in them.

The flat is currently home to two incredibly lovely guys who have been renting from me for over three years. They're only moving out because they're buying their own place! We've built a genuinely great landlord-tenant relationship over the years, and you would be welcome to ask them about their experience.

My philosophy is simple: once you're living here, it's your home, not just a rental property. I want you to feel comfortable, settled and happy here, and I'll always do my best to make sure that's the case.

I'm very responsive and hands-on, and I live just 10 minutes away by car. On more than one occasion, I've popped round within moments of receiving a call to sort out an issue. You won't be left chasing an agent or waiting days for a response!

💰 Fantastic value for money

The flat would ordinarily command a rent of around £2,300 per month, but I'm offering it at a very competitive price for someone looking to move in promptly.

Why? Quite simply, I'm looking for the right tenants who will appreciate the flat and look after the place I used to lovingly call home.

You'll be getting a spacious, modern two-bedroom apartment in Zone 2 for a price that makes it a particularly attractive alternative to renting a one-bedroom flat elsewhere in London.

🏡 The flat

It's a modern, purpose-built apartment in a lovely development, with some really nice neighbours.

The flat is approximately 750 sq ft (70 sq m) and comes fully furnished. It has:

Two generously sized double bedrooms.

A spacious, open-plan living room and kitchen.

A private balcony.

Luxurious memory foam mattresses in both bedrooms, including a king-size TEMPUR mattress in one room.

A 50-inch flatscreen TV.

Superfast fibre broadband already connected.

Stunning views across East London, including the Olympic Village, London Stadium and Westfield shopping centre.

The photos are from when I lived here, although some of the furniture has changed. The flat is still the same lovely place, and there's scope to make it feel like your own home. I can also arrange for the current tenants to share more recent photos and videos so you can see how it looks today.

👥 Who would it suit?

The entire flat is available on one tenancy agreement, rather than being let out as individual rooms.

It's ideal for:

Two professional friends who want to share a proper home.

A couple who would appreciate a spare bedroom.

Anyone working from home who wants a dedicated office.

A couple looking for a guest room, dressing room or simply a bit more space.

Why share a house or HMO with lots of strangers, potentially without a proper living room, when you could have your own entire flat for a comparable price?

Whether you're sharing with a close friend or living as a couple, you'll have your own space, your own living room and the freedom to make the flat your home.

🚇 Fantastic transport links and a convenient location

Situated in a great part of East London, the flat is close to beautiful Victoria Park, trendy Hackney Wick, and a brilliant selection of pubs, bars and independent cafés.

Getting around London is incredibly easy:

1-minute walk: Bow Church DLR.

4-minute walk: Bow Road Underground station.

Around 10 minutes: Canary Wharf.

Around 15 minutes: The City.

Just over 20 minutes: Central London.

Around 5 minutes: Stratford and Westfield shopping centre.

Journey times are approximate and depend on your route and destination.

One thing I particularly appreciate about the location is the walk to and from the stations. The route follows busy main roads, rather than requiring you to walk through empty parks or along quiet residential streets. It's a well-connected, convenient route, including when returning home in the evening.

For everyday essentials, there's a large Tesco around five minutes away and a Co-op less than two minutes away.

🚗 Parking and additional storage

The flat also comes with its own private, secure underground parking space, which is a real bonus in London.

There's also a secure storage room for bicycles, making it ideal if you cycle to work or simply enjoy getting out and about.

💡 Bills and running costs

The rent includes the service charge, currently over £400 per month, which I pay as the landlord. This also covers the water charges.

Council tax and electricity are not included.

The flat has a good EPC rating and is warm and thermally efficient, helping to keep electricity costs manageable.

Superfast fibre broadband is already connected, so you won't need to start from scratch setting up an internet connection.

🔑 Renting directly from the owner

As you're renting directly from me, there are no agency fees to pay.

The deposit will be equivalent to one month's rent and will be protected with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS).

I'm happy to answer any questions, provide additional photos or videos, and arrange a viewing so you can see the flat for yourself.

If you're looking for a spacious, well-connected home at a great price, with a landlord who genuinely cares about the property and the people living in it, I'd love to hear from you!

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions.

Sorry, no agents, please!
