Double bedroom in newly refurbished Clapham house

I’m Matt, I’m 34 and I’m looking to rent out the top floor of my beautiful home in Clapham, and share my home with someone I can get on well with, preferably someone within the LGBTQ+ community.

I’m looking for someone to make this a home for themselves, not just someone to rent a room. I’m incredibly social, have bought a house designed for hosting friends and family over, so definitely don’t want someone hiding in their rooms. I want to share this as our home, and not feel like a live in landlord.

Brand new living room furniture is arriving next week, so the pics will be updated.

This is a four bedroom house; two bedrooms I use for myself and my office/walk in wardrobe, one for a spare room (for both of our friends/family to use as needed), and then the fourth room - to rent out.

It’s the full top floor (as shown on the plan in pics), so privacy and personal space is completely set up - with its own bathroom with rainfall shower and velux window.

The room is fitted with a double bed and wardrobes. The current desk and air con are not included.

The rent will include Sky, Broadband and utilities.

Parking is available via a permit if you are a driver.

The house is a 6 minute walk from Clapham North with the Northern line, and access to Victoria line with Stockwell and Brixton - both a 15 minute walk away. Clapham High Street is also a 5 minute walk away for the overground heading East.
