Cosy double room in a recently renovated flat, sharing with 32-year-old live-in landlord.

Hey, I’m Julia. I’m looking for a female lodger who’s warm, friendly, and helps me keep the space clean, tidy and in good nick. And who works 4-5 days out of the house (as I work from home and use the study).

I work in marketing and I like a calm, peaceful home. With just the two of us here, it’s an intimate space so it’s important to me to find someone I gel well with and can get to know. Ideally someone down to watch a show, have a glass of wine or go to the odd fitness class together (rather than an anonymous houseshare vibe!)

The flat is on the ground floor of a converted victorian house on the edge of Clapham Old Town and about 15 minutes walk from Battersea Park. Nearby transport links include Queenstown Rd (national rail), Clapham Common (northern line), Wandsworth Road (overground) and easy buses into Vauxhall, Waterloo and Victoria.

It's been recently renovated to a very high standard (herringbone floors, new kitchen and extension with skylights, freestanding bathtub) and the room available is a comfortable double with a brand new bed (with built-in storage) and a big window. This isn’t a flat designed for renters so it needs that bit of extra care, but is well worth it!

The flat has a good amount of storage, a small south-facing garden which gets the sun and a back gate perfect for bike access. It also has on-street parking right outside with a permit available. The flat has 3 double bedrooms but one of them is used as a study.
