I’m looking for a lodger for approximately 4 months from around 1st October 2026, but I can be flexible for the right person.

A little bit about the flat
2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop
7-minute bus journey to Clapham Common station
Around a 20-minute walk to either Clapham Common or Clapham North stations
One furnished double bedroom available (roughly 3.67m x 2.83m) - there is a double bed, mattress, wardrobe (may differ from images)
Kitchen has a standing fridge freezer
Huge shared bathroom

Please note there is no separate living room.
Rent is £1000 with all bills and council tax included.
Deposit is one months rent.

A little bit about me
My name is Esther, I’m 27 and I’ve lived in the Lambeth area for the past couple of years. I decided to put some roots down and buy a flat, and I’m now looking for someone to share it with for a short while.

I work as an R&D Manager within in the food industry (WFH 3 days per week)
I love playing netball and keeping active
I enjoy a bit of guilty pleasure TV - Love Is Blind and MAFS Australia are favourites!
I take pride in being reliable, clean, tidy, and respectful of people’s time and space

Having spent the last 5 years living in professional house/flat shares, I’m familiar with the ins and outs of shared living. I’m easygoing, communicate well, and I’m always up for a chat while also respecting people’s need for their own space.

I’m looking for someone who would like to maintain a calm and respectful home environment. (this isn't a party flat)

For transparency, I don’t get the keys until September, so I won’t be able to host an in person viewing just yet. However, If you are interested I can share a video from when I viewed the property before purchasing. Also to give confidence that the purchase is a done deal I have already exchanged contracts the only reason I haven't completed yet is because I want to complete nearer to when my existing tenancy ends.
