Flat available in Clapham South, near Abbeville

We’ve had a room open up in our gorgeous, modern flat in Clapham South. Our flat mate is sadly moving out, so we will be looking for someone to take over her room.

Location wise it is:
✨~ 8 mins away from the tube station (Northern line), with a big Tesco’s, and M&S right next to the station
✨Short walk to both Clapham high street and Balham
✨Just off the gorgeous Abbeville road, which has loads of lovely independent shops and restaurants
✨A few minutes walk from a Sainsbury’s local
✨~ 5 minutes from Clapham Common

The area also feels super safe, and with also being mega convenient, I honestly couldn’t ask for a better location!

The flat itself is on the 3rd floor, and is lovely, bright, and modern, with a spacious living room separate from the kitchen. It also has a little balcony, looking onto a nice, green courtyard, and has a really great, big bathroom. The flat was redone when we moved in, which was only in February, with all new furniture, mattresses etc. The room itself is the biggest in the flat, and is a really good size especially for London. It has a double bed, with space for 2 desks, 2 bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a massive wardrobe. I would say this is ideal for anyone who does a couple days WFH, making use of the desk space.

You’d be living with me (girl, 25) and Patrick (boy, 26). We both work 9-5s, but do a couple of days a week working from home. We’re both fairly social, love a pub, but also like a bit of downtime.

We’d be looking for someone easy going but also clean and respectful. We’d really love to be genuine friends with our flatmate, and all get along really well. I would love to have someone to have a yap with, and watch bake off with on a Tuesday night! Preferably, we would have another female flatmate, and age-wise we’d be looking for someone around 23-28.

The room is £1,150, plus bills which usually come to less than £100 (£85 last month), council band B. The move in date will be December 6th.

Will need a full time income or a UK guarantor for the landlord checks.
