Cosy Clapton Home for 2 months 💛

Hello!! We are off on a 10 week sabbatical to South America and we’re subletting our cosy London flat while we’re away! The flat is located right on the river Lea in Clapton - about a 10 minute walk from Clapton overground station. It has the most incredible views out over the marshes and lots of gorgeous walks you can go on in the wetlands and up and down the river. Our local pub, the Anchor & Hope, is right at the bottom of the hill and it’s a real locals pub (they have an exceptional new years bash!). We’re a short walk from Chatsworth Road and the overground / local bus links take you down into Dalston / Hackney Central / Liverpool Street. Also super easy to get to Stratford if you have a bike or lime bike.

The flat itself has been recently renovated - we’re just finishing the last room (the bathroom!) which will be done this week. It’s a three bedroom flat but we’ve advertised it as two bedrooms as we will be leaving all our stuff in one of the rooms 😂

The main bedroom has a super comfy king sized bed, and the second room is currently set up as a dressing room / work from home station but if you needed a second bed we could look into that and just pop the desk in another room. The wardrobes are massive!

There is also a little balcony to enjoy a coffee from in the morning!!

If you’re eagle eyed you’ll probably notice we haven’t got around to putting a blind up in the bedroom yet - this will be done before we let it!

We have all the stuff you’d expect and you’re welcome to use anything and anything you don’t want lying around we can just stick in the third room.

The estate we live on is very friendly and our neighbours are mostly families. Two doors down is a lovely Bangladeshi family who cook incredible food and run a little takeaway from their home kitchen just for the block of flats - so we will definitely give you their menu!
