ABOUT THE FLAT

The flat is a beautiful Victorian property in East Dulwich/Peckham. The kitchen includes a washing machine and dryer, and access to a private outdoor roof terrace. The space is fully furnished with a mix of modern and mid-century furniture. It is within walking distance to many nice coffee shops, pubs, boutiques, restaurants, and it is very well connected to central London by bus, train and overground.

ABOUT THE ROOM

The room is on the first floor, it has a double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. A desk and chair can also be added if you’d prefer to have space to work in the room. The room doesn't have an ensuite, but you would be the main user of the shared bathroom which has recently been renovated.

ABOUT THE FLATMATES

You would be living with me (33f) and my partner (38m). We are both professionals working in research. I love all things arts and movement - when I’m not working, I’m probably working on handstands somewhere. My partner is also a musician and plays guitar in a post-punk band. We are both chilled and easy going people - our room is on the top floor of the flat, and we have our own ensuite bathroom. We have both lived with flatmates all of our adult lives and are still great friends with many of them.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking to rent the room to someone who is clean, tidy, friendly, and will be respectful of the space. The room is fully furnished and would suit someone who isn’t bringing additional furniture or big items as storage is limited. Ideally, someone who will treat the space like a home and will be up for the occasional coffee or pub quiz. The room is only available for a 6-month period, so it would suit someone looking for a temporary place to live in London.
