Beautiful Room in Quiet Street

I am looking for a respectful, clean and tidy person to rent my spare room in Herne Hill. Ideally someone who is independent, likes their own space, and is happy living in a calm home.

The room is available for £950/month including bills (for a 12-month stay). Shorter stays of 3, 4 or 6 months can also be considered at £1,500/month.

I’m looking for someone who:

* Is considerate and tidy
* Likes their own space and is not looking for a very social house share
* Is quiet and respectful of boundaries
* Takes care of the home as if it were their own
* Loves animals (this is a big plus!)

A cat lover is especially important. I have a lovely, clever and affectionate cat, Bicirik (or “Cikinita”), who loves attention and company. She is very friendly, gentle and doesn’t bite or scratch. I travel quite a lot for work, so it would be wonderful to have someone who enjoys having her around when I’m away.

About me:
My name is Elif, I’m 61. I work as a 1-to-1 breathwork trainer and I enjoy travelling. I’m sociable and helpful, but I also value my own space and like a peaceful environment.

The house is in a fantastic part of Herne Hill:

* 10-minute walk to Brixton tube
* Opposite Brockwell Park and the Lido
* 2 minutes from a large Sainsbury’s
* Close to Herne Hill’s lovely Sunday market, cafés and local amenities

The ideal person will be independent, caring and happy sharing a home with a friendly cat.
