A 12 minute walk to North Dulwich also connects you to services running into London Bridge and Denmark Hill, which is on the Orange Overground line taking you round to either Clapham or towards Shoreditch, is only five minutes away on the bus.

The area itself is very leafy and green, with the popular Brockwell Park and its famous Lido only a few minutes down the road, as well as lovely Ruskin Park situated behind the court towards Denmark Hill and Camberwell. Herne Hill itself has some great pubs with nice beer gardens, and good food, as well as a Sunday Farmers' Market. There are a selection of sweet local shops in the area and for day-to-day shopping you have both supermarkets and local delicatessens and fruit and veg shops.
