Double bedroom in shared flat in Kennington

Hi, I own a modern flat in Kennington, close to the Tube. I’m looking for someone to move into the second bedroom - £1300/month. Ideally I’m looking for a friend as well as a flatmate.

The Flat
It’s a new build apartment, 5 minutes from Kennington Tube station and overlooking a park. Two bedrooms, I’m in the other one. There’s a combined lounge and kitchen with a nice balcony. Fast broadband. I have a weekly cleaner. Bills are included.

Kennington Tube connects to both branches of the Northern Line. Obviously, there are loads of buses too. Elephant and Castle is in walking distance.

The Room
It’s small but it’s got a new bed (small double), mattress, desk, wardrobe and bedside table. The bed opens for storage. The bathroom is next door (not en suite) with a shower, sink and toilet which will be yours.

50yo, gay, single, originally from the North of England. I am friendly and easy going. I work as a journalist and do a mix of wfh and the office. I also do some volunteering with the police.

You
Someone who will treat the place as home but be tidy and respectful. Not a party flat and strictly no drugs. Prefer someone who doesn't regularly work from home.

I’m also open to short term lets if you want but at a higher cost.
