Lovely Double Room in Kennington

Hi there!

We have lived in this lovely flat for 6 years & 1 year and are looking for someone to take the room from early Oct onwards as sadly our flatmate is moving out. All our housemates have always been found through spare room and are all still great pals. It would be great to replicate the experience again! We would love a professional female between 28 and 32 to move in, preferably who goes into the office at least 3/4 times a week.

The flat is a second and third floor maisonette in a 3 storey Victorian house in Kennington just 5 minutes walk from the station (northern line-all branches) or a 15 min walk to Vauxhall (Victoria line).

It is well connected with great pubs, coffee shops, bus/tube routes, gyms and plenty of small shops plus a large supermarket nearby. It is on a quiet street in a residential area just 1 minute walk from Kennington park.

The room:
A large double bedroom with a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers (the standalone shelves in the room are not included). It has 1 large sash window (double glazing) letting in loads of light (overlooking the neighbour's garden) and a fireplace. It is a well sized room with under bed storage drawers, there is also space for a small desk.

The flatmates:
Two females, one is a journalist, 29 and the other works in hospitality, 31. We enjoy socialising and catching up but also need time and space after a long day at work, you can normally find us in front of the TV or in the kitchen. We both enjoy the usual bits, exercise throughout the week, food, travelling & a good debrief after work.

We are normal gals and are looking for someone who is clean, tidy, friendly and social. We like to do our own thing at the weekend, but can also be found at home or going to a gym class, love a long walk or a chill Sunday, we are definitely not a party flat. We would love someone who spends time at home, enjoys watching a series/movie together and wants be social with us, this really is our home and we want you to feel that also.

Bills:
Roughly £120 a month, however current flatmate will be taking the WiFi and sky TV box, so these are both welcome.

Deposit is approx £1200 - TBC
