Double room in lovely zone 1 flat by the tube

Live-in landlord looking to rent out a double room in maisonette. I'm ideally looking for a Mon to Fri lodger but will consider a full-time tenant who doesn't have loads of stuff - 7 days a week would be £900/ month. The main reason for that is because the room is full of my books (and pictures) so is only really suitable for someone without loads of possessions (mainly clothes and essentials rather than a flat load of gear!), so prospective flatmates will need to be happy with that although I will be accommodating and move some of the books out to make room for your stuff.

The flat is just a minute walk from Kennington underground which gives access to the West End, City, Kings Cross, Euston in 15 minutes. The South Bank/ river is a 20-30 minute stroll away.

It is a first floor property with its own front door and is situated on a very quiet street. The room is light and airy with two windows and a cast-iron fireplace. There is some storage space in two chests of drawers and also a clothes rail. Weekday, Mon-Fri, lodgers can leave possessions over the weekend, of course, and I can provide freshly laundered bedding if needed.

The rest of the flat has all the usual mod-cons inc. wifi, a clean bathroom and roof terrace. You would be sharing with an easy going, male media professional. I tend to go out quite a lot and am often not around in the evenings. And if you are out of the door before 8.00am - you probably wouldn’t bump into me in the morning either!

My last two lodgers stayed here three years and two years (they moved due to job relocation) and both absolutely loved it!
