Double room ground floor in easy going house share

. I have a great double room for rent in SE27, halfway between Gipsy Hill and West Norwood, so near Dulwich and Crystal Palace. Pets are welcome, I’m a lover of both cats and dogs, no spiders please!
We welcome people of any nationality in this house. I proudly voted remain and am embarrassed by brexit. I enjoy renting to and living with people from overseas.
I live at the house which I own. I'm a musician and am away on tour often. There is also a young woman who is a dance. I'm hoping someone will come here and make it their home. I realise it can be a hard task searching for a room and there are a lot of unpleasant landlords around. I rented when I was younger and know that people want an easygoing relationship with the person they rent from. This is a very relaxed house. There is a clean modern sunlit kitchen with washing machine, dryer cooker etc. The garden needs attention, I’m hopeless at it. When the weather is good we have bbq’s and sometimes a party-but this is not a party house. As mentioned you can bring a dog here if you like, or a cat, the previous person had a cat and it climbed out of the window to enjoy itself. If a cat comes please keep its litter box in your room. There is no smoking in the kitchen, but you are welcome to smoke in your room or the garden. There is hi speed wi-fi. The bedroom is on the ground floor. There is a working fireplace in the room, and wood floors. Solar panels on the roof of the house. There is a bath and shower room on the ground floor where the room is situated. . A separate toilet next to it. Free on street parking right outside the door and a bus stop with buses to Brixton and Clapham Junction. A two minute walk brings you to buses to the west end. A five min walk takes you to a choice of two train stations (West Norwood or Gipsy Hill) with trains to Victoria, London Bridge. Local shops and restaurants are great with a relatively Budgens supermarket very close by with just a little further to the high st where you'll find Sainsburys and Tescos etc.
The photos show the room as it was before the current occupant moved in. Of course it will be totally clean, and empty. The walls can be repainted if you like, that’s up to you. There is a large wardrobe with full length mirror. You can bring your own bed with you or use the standard size double bed frame already there and bring your own mattress.

I've been renting rooms for a long time and have never taken anyones deposit when they leave. I'd ask for a months notice if you decided to leave. and that you stay a minimum of 6 months. Hopefully longer. This is not for short term. There are no rules really, but I'm not interested in living with racist or homophobic people. I've rented to young people, students etc in the past and they've always been happy here but age is not a concern. You can paint the room any colour you want, you can put up pictures, TV brackets or whatever. I pay council tax and the water bill. We split energy bills, which currently are around £30 per month, but as we know in the UK, that can rise. Everything else is included, wifi, council tax etc. Please feel free to email on this website. II'm asking for only a relatively small deposit of £500 as the room could do with painting, again that’s up to you . If you want to reserve the room you are welcome to pay a deposit as soon as you decide you'd like to take it. Feel free to come and have a look and see if you think it would suit you.
