The flat is on two levels and the bedrooms are situated away from each other which is great for privacy. The sitting room/kitchen area is open plan and there are new balcony doors which lead out onto a balcony. The flat is on the first floor of a Victorian conversion with a flat below and a flat above. There's a lot of light and the building has recently been renovated to an excellent standard.

Greeny bits: The flat is in a leafy area, and there's a lovely park located at the bottom of the road. It's pretty big - there's a pond, tennis courts, a running track, and it also boasts the largest outdoor lido in Europe.

Amenities:

There's a Marks & Spencer’s Food Hall, a Sainsbury's local, a Tesco local, a Co-operative and many independent food shops in Streatham Hill and a large Sainsbury's and a Waitrose in Balham. There's no shortage of food!

There are three gyms close by - A Fitness First, A Virgin Active, and Balham Leisure Centre which has a swimming pool & gym. There are also a few tennis clubs bopping about and lots of yoga classes for those who enjoy a bit of body and mind balance.

Pubs and restaurants - a real eclectic mix in Balham. There's an independent cinema in one of the pubs and I would say that all of the above are frequented by a young professional crowd.

Transport:

Very good transport links. Streatham Hill BR is 5 mins walk away (goes to Victoria or London Bridge) and Balham BR and tube 10 mins walk away. Both are in Zone 3. There are also good bus links in and out of town.
