Queer, community organising, communal household

We are 3 queer people, a mix of women and trans/nonbinary, looking for a 4th person to join our home in Tottenham. We all spend a lot of time doing socialist and/or community organizing. We are hoping to find someone who is fairly social with us, and shares our values around politics, community and shared living.

How we like to live:

We are mostly working or busy during weekdays, so not a late night household, but we like to eat together and hang out in the evenings. Other interests include swimming, gigs, gardening, photography, trips to the pub and lots of yapping.

- Communal food - we share all our groceries, and cook for each other during the week. We mostly cook vegetarian, but do sometimes eat meat.
- Cleaning rota - we divide household chores into a weekly cleaning rota, which we use each week
- Socialising - we often have movie nights together, or sit around chatting with cups of tea. Sometimes we go out to the pub together, or occasionally on nights out, and at the weekends we may have friends over. We do tend to do the majority of our socialising outside of the house, but friends and partners are very welcome.
- Household activities - one of us is a gardener, and others enjoy spending time outside, so anyone who also shares those interests would be ideal.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who wants to make this place into a home, ideally long term let, but open to short term. As a queer household, we'll give preference to other queer and trans people, and would love to also live with someone who shares our values around politics and community.

As most of us work during the week, we'd also love to have someone move in who has a similar schedule to us, so that things don't clash too much.

The area:

- quiet street near to seven sisters and Bruce grove stations
- close to the palm pub
- 20 minute walk to Tottenham marshes

Rent is 750 pcm, bills come to roughly £100 pcm, plus what we spend on communal groceries.
