Charming Double Room | Tottenham Hale/Bruce Grove

We are Simon and Leah, a young professional couple in our 30s who are looking to rent our spare room for a stay of around 4 months.

We are both originally from North London and enjoy cooking, gardening, music, sports, animals and generally creating a calm, cosy home environment.

Simon works in education and Leah works in hospitality marketing. We both work full-time from home Monday - Friday, so ideally we’re looking for someone who works outside the home during weekdays (9 - 5ish), though we’re happy to discuss hybrid arrangements.

We are both laid back, tidy and easygoing people, and we’re looking for someone similar who also enjoys a calm, respectful home environment. We’d prefer someone who sees home as more of a place to relax and recharge rather than a social hub.

The house is a beautiful Victorian terrace over two floors with lots of character, original wood flooring and a large open-plan living and dining space with a 49” TV and streaming subscriptions.

The bedroom itself is bright and peaceful, overlooking the garden, and comes furnished with:

Double bed & mattress
Bedside tables
Clothes rail & hangers
Pod coffee machine & kettle (optional)
Fitted blinds
Garden view

The main bathroom is directly next to the bedroom and is shared with us. It includes a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure. There’s also an additional downstairs toilet in the utility room.

You’ll also have access to:

Large kitchen with brand new Rangemaster oven & gas hob
Bosch dishwasher
Samsung fridge with filtered water & ice
Separate utility room with washing machine & separate dryer
70ft garden with seating area

We’re both really into gardening and are currently transforming the garden, so it should be in full bloom for you to enjoy over the next few months.

We also have two very friendly outdoor cats that we feed, though they don’t come inside the house.

Bruce Grove Overground: approx. 6 mins walk
King’s Cross ~10 mins
Oxford Circus ~15 mins
Liverpool Street ~15 mins via Overground
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium within walking distance

Bruce Grove High Street is nearby with supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, and Walthamstow Wetlands/Tottenham Marshes are close for walks and green space.
