Hey! We're looking for someone to join our lovely Seven Sisters home!
Who we are:
We're Tara and Aisha, both in our late 20s/early 30s.
Tara works in partnerships and loves hosting dinner parties, volunteering and finding any excuse to get people around the table.
Aisha works in events, loves comedy, fashion & and is always up for comparing Letterboxd reviews after a film night.
We met through a mutual friend and used to run music gigs together, so bringing people together has always been a big part of our lives. We usually end up cooking together a couple of nights a week, watching films in the living room or making the most of the garden whenever the sun decides to appear. We both have our own friends, hobbies and lives outside the house too, so there's a really nice balance.
You'll also be living with our two cats.
Squirrel is shy and mostly keeps to Tara's room unless she fancies some fuss.
Max is incredibly friendly and assumes every visitor has arrived specifically for him.
Who we’re looking for:
We're looking for someone in their late 20s or early 30s. Ideally you've lived in shared houses before, enjoy the occasional shared dinner, film night or BBQ, but also have your own life, friends and hobbies. We'd love someone who's kind, considerate and excited to help keep the house feeling warm, welcoming and like a proper home.
Our communities:
Tara is a lesbian, Aisha is straight, but both of us spend most of our time within queer spaces - if this sounds like you, then that’s a definite plus (but no pressure).
The house:
One of the best things about the house is the amount of space. It's much bigger than your average London house share, so it never feels cramped and there's plenty of room to both socialise and have your own space.
The house has:
* A huge, cosy living room for film nights and lazy Sundays and modern kitchen with a large island, fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher and lots of storage. It's very much the heart of the house.
* A bright conservatory
* Three bathrooms
* A utility room
* A lovely back garden that's perfect for summer evenings and the occasional BBQ.
* A huge storage room at the back that's ideal for bikes, luggage and anything bulky.
Your space -
The bedroom is a great size with large built in wardrobes and comes with a separate bonus studio room.
Our current housemate uses it as a painting studio, but it'd work just as well as a home office, creative space, dressing room whatever you fancy really!
Location:
* Around a 15-minute walk to Seven Sisters Station.
* Walking distance to Tottenham Hale and Bruce Grove.
* Great bus connections in every direction, making it easy to get almost anywhere in London.
* A brilliant corner shop just down the road (it somehow stocks everything).
* Around a 10-minute walk to Tesco and Sainsbury's.
Info:
Rent: £1,150 pcm
Bills: Around £150 pcm
Move in: 6th August (slightly flexible)
The room isn't on the tenancy agreement, so you'd be living with us as a housemate rather than being named on the lease. Happy to chat through how it all works it hasn't been a problem so far.
If this sounds like your kind of home, send us a message telling us a bit about yourself, what you're looking for in a house share, and anything you're into. We'd love to hear from you!
