Super-king bed can be altered to two single beds

Our stonewall cottage sits at the foot of Shotover Hill, just a 17-minute drive from Oxford city centre. The cottage enjoys fresh countryside air and excellent transport links. We’re offering one of our four bedrooms for rent in Headington (OX3), ideally located near the JR Hospital and Oxford Brookes University, and only a 20-minute cycle into town. The available room is bright, with windows on three sides and beautiful views.

I live here with my husband (English/Irish) and our middle-school-aged daughter, and two lovely cats. I work for Council and have studied several master’s degrees in the UK, including Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and an MBA. I’d be happy to share advice in these areas if helpful. We also have a baby grand piano that you are welcome to use.

The room has a two single beds, which can be put together as a super king bed. Rent includes bills, with a deposit required. There are separate bathrooms upstairs and downstairs for convenience. Utilities, heating, Wi-Fi, and TV are all included, and council tax (band F) is not payable. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils, and we provide bedding, linens, purified water, toilet paper, and other essentials. A table, chairs, and clothes hangers are also provided. You’re welcome to cook your own meals. A bicycle is also available for you to use if you require.

Cycling and public transport are both very convenient. The city centre is about 25 minutes by bike, JR Hospital is 5–10 minutes away, and Oxford Brookes University’s Old Road Campus is 10–15 minutes away. Bus number 9 also stops right outside our home and goes directly into the city. Also Oxford Tube can take you to the city centre and bus no. 600 can take you to the JR Hospital.
