THE ROOMS

Both rooms are freshly decorated and quiet, overlooking the garden, with good natural light and plenty of storage.

The single (3.33m x 2.51m) is furnished with desk, bed, open wardrobe, and chest of drawers with underbed storage.

The double (3.15m x 3.78m) has built-in wardrobes with generous additional cupboard storage, double bed, and desk.

THE HOUSE

A home full of plants and books, with plenty of space to spread out: a comfortable sitting room with multiple sofas, and a large dining kitchen well-equipped for people who love to cook, with ample cupboard space and an American-style fridge/freezer. Well-appointed shower room upstairs with good storage; additional loo downstairs. Private back garden with outdoor seating. Secure bicycle storage in the shed.

Central Headington: short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and a 24hr gym

Old Road Campus, the JR, Churchill, and Oxford Brookes: 20 minutes on foot, 5-10 mins by bike

Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre: 5 minutes on foot

Frequent buses to Oxford city centre, London, and Heathrow

Bury Knowle park and tennis courts, Lye Valley and Shotover nature reserves are less than 15 minutes away by foot.

THE HOUSEHOLD

Warm, friendly, and quiet: a comfortable base to come home to rather than a party house. I have experience sharing my home with lodgers and enjoy providing a calm, welcoming place for people who are busy with work or study. Past and current tenants include a visiting professor on sabbatical, a classical musician and a postgraduate student on NHS placement. Particularly well-suited to mature graduate students, postdocs, researchers, visiting academics, and medics, though any tidy, considerate professional would be a good fit.
