This is our much-loved family home, which we are opening up for a few months while we head to the French Alps to spend the winter skiing. It has been beautifully renovated to create a warm, comfortable and spacious home that works equally well for relaxing, working from home or family life.
The house has two generous double bedrooms, both with plenty of storage, along with a large family bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in shower. There is also a convenient downstairs shower room.
The heart of the house is the large, sociable kitchen, with a generous island that is perfect for cooking, eating and gathering together. There is a separate day room which makes a lovely relaxed family space, as well as a separate cosy living room with a log burner – particularly lovely on winter evenings.
There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, making the house well equipped for a longer stay.
We have designed the house as a home rather than a holiday rental, so it is comfortable, practical and has everything you need for everyday living. As it is our family home, you will find some of our personal belongings dotted around the house, and a few cupboards and storage areas will be locked for items that we are leaving behind. The majority of the house, however, will be completely available for you to enjoy.

The location
The house is in a fantastic position just off Llantrisant Road, with a bus stop very close by providing a direct route into Cardiff. It offers the best of both worlds – easy access to the city while still feeling like a home in a village setting.
We are also just down the road from the lovely village of Pentyrch, where you will find a friendly country pub and local shop, with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep.
The house would be particularly well suited to a family or professional looking for a comfortable home for a few months – perhaps while between properties, relocating to Cardiff, working in the area, or having work carried out on their own home.
