Q: I am a student, can I rent out the room?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I rent out one of the two bedrooms?
A: Unfortunately not. I am required to rent out the flat as a whole rather than separate out the renting of the property on a room by room basis.
Q: I would like to rent out the property alongside 2 other people; is this ok?
A: I do not have an HMO license for the property, and therefore would not be able to rent out the property to 3 or more people who do not share the same surname.
Q: What kind of internet speed can I get here?
A: I am not sure on the maximum but I was able to comfortably get 100mb/s download speeds on the Sky Superfast plan I was on previously (which was more than enough for online gaming for two people when I stayed here).
Q: Can I sublet the property?
A: No.
Q: What is the minimum/maximum length of time I can stay for?
A: There is no maximum period of time you can stay for. The minimum period of time would be 1 month (Once a tenant makes clear they would like to move out a months notice is required). That said, I am keen to rent out the property for longer periods of time rather than short term stays.
