The room: Comfortable double bedroom with a lovely antique mirror, TV/printer, wardrobe and its own desk/workspace set-up by the window, great if you work from home some days. Carpeted, bright, with plenty of natural light.
The flat: Modern, well-maintained 2-bed with a spacious lounge with large TV, artwork, a proper cook’s kitchen (gas hob, air fryer, oven, and all other essentials), and a shared bathroom. Wood flooring in the living areas, neutral decor throughout.
Who you’d be living with: There are two of us — myself and my partner — but I’ll be travelling extensively from August onwards for a few months, so day-to-day you’d mainly be sharing with him for the first few months. He is chilled and works full time, and also an excellent cook, so expect some genuinely great home-cooked meals!
Who we are looking for: A tidy, respectful, easy-going housemate. Someone who doesn’t have too much stuff, as there is not much space and you will have to keep everything in your room. You’ve got to be very clean when it comes to bathroom cleanliness and overall common areas in the flat. You either work full time on a daily basis and /or few days a week from home. No parties in the flat, but happy for you to organise dinners with friends if you like.
