Professional needs large double + parking

I'm a British, 47 year old professional...

Looking for a large double room for single occupancy. Included in a property with a separate (shared) living room, kitchen, washing machine, fast internet access and safe, off street parking for a small car.

I treat a house/flat as a home and not just a place to eat and sleep. I'm clean, tidy, respectful, friendly and very considerate, who would appreciate the same in return. I'm not looking for a house of multiple occupants, sub-letting (need to deal with landlord directly), vegetarian cooking only kitchens or party households. That being said, I am sociable and do cook a wicked Sunday roast.

In an ideal world, although not essential, a landlords second home or a property where I've the place to myself during the week (for example). I've stayed in a couple of places like this, which works well as I do look after the place as if it were my own. Of course, references are available to justify this.

I'm dog and cat friendly too, although I don't have any pets.

For work, I'm in live events - on the operations side of things.

Near to a station would be handy although not essential for my commute to the office.

I am available and ready to move within a couple of days.

Hobby-wise, I've a major passion for table tennis - qualified coach and play local league.
