Moving from London back to North West

Hello,
I am currently living in Croyden in the councils temporary accomidation whilst they find me a property, the thing is, I don't want to remain down here and want to move closer to family back on the Wirral.

My payments are made via benefits on a self employed basis where i also contract driving for Amazon and Supporting Ukraine (I can be away a lot), so there is no fear of ever missing a payment.

I am finding it difficult to find a place and speaking to Veterans Aid and Royal British Legion given my unique circumstances.

I am wanting a large room, studio or 1 bedroom flat.

The council here are so unresponsive that not even the Royal British Legion can get hold of them.

If there os anything you can do to help, I would be most grateful.
