Looking for a room to let/housesitting in August

Hi, I‘m Jenni, 32 years old and run a small photography business in Germany. I've lived in Sussex from 2020-2022 and would love love love to spend my summer back in the UK.

Basically I am looking for a flat share/spare room in to live in roughly from end of July - end of August 2024 (anything from a week to a month really - ideal would be 26/7 - 23/8), but I can be flexible with the exact dates. I'm happy to just keep to myself in my room if you prefer that but would also love to share some meals and have some relaxed evenings together. I will work from home on a few days a week but don't mind taking my laptop with me to town or a co-working space.

Another possibility would be to house sit or even do some work around the house (cleaning, gardening, running errands, etc.), happy to pet sit too, have done it for years and also had a dog myself for 15 years.

I would describe myself as calm, quiet and easygoing. Love a good coffee, (live)music, films and netflix binges. I enjoy nature, mindfulness & meditation, sea swims, I like cooking and love animals, especially dogs.

I don’t mind age/gender/occupation and don’t have any specific needs regarding the room, as long as there is a bed and a window I am all good :)
