Masters student & cute cat looking for double room

Hello there! My name is Allison and I'm a calm, friendly 29-year-old student.

I’m from Alaska, so I like being surrounded by nature and mountains whenever possible. For fun, I love to sing and perform- usually musical theatre/disney songs or 1970s folk/country music. On weekends, I enjoy having picnics and going to West End stage musicals. I’ve also had the opportunity to visit some other countries, and hope to do more international travel. For exercise, I enjoy leisurely walks/jogs or bike rides through the park. I also like dry humour and good conversation, perhaps over cards or a board game. I'm interested in justice, and frequently watch crime documentaries, but also like guilty pleasure shows.

I would appreciate flatmates with similar lifestyle/interests, but I don't mind their age or profession. **I do prefer to live with females, of any sexual orientation, and/or LGBT+ humans.**

As a housemate I'm generally tidy, chill, quiet (apart from absentminded singing), and a nonsmoker. I like to treat my home as a safe, calm space; I am fairly introverted, but enjoy going out for fun adventures too! I also have a partner of over a year, who I'd hope could come visit me from time to time. He is also laid-back and enjoys quiet activities.
I spend lots of time with my cat—so need somewhere PET FRIENDLY! She is very cuddly, sweet, sleepy, and social. I also trim her claws, so no worries about her tearing up your things.

In terms of cooking, I don't eat any red meat or fish (but don't mind at all if you do). In general, I try to make quite large portions only once a week to meal-prep leftovers for future meals (generally things like chicken and vegetable stir fry, and spaghetti sauce or lasagna). Otherwise, I eat quick things and don’t take up much time/space in the kitchen.
If your accommodation has a garden/patio space that would be lovely, but if not I’ll be fine if there’s a park nearby.

I'm starting an LLM law conversion course in May, to supplement my existing MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics. Ideally, I’d like to find professional employment related to those fields in the near future (I will also be working part-time on my visa). My visa is through at least June 2025.
