Looking for a week or two stay for business

Hi, I'm a youngly retired ex academic looking to relocate to the Christchurch/Poole/Bournemouth areas.

My dates are not fixed yet but it would be April/May I may have a friend helping me for parts and my son for other parts who’s are not fussy about crashing on the floor etc

I am looking for a week or two stay - I'd be minimum fuss and would be out most days for viewings.

Looking for a place to lay my head basically and with a bit of help
from a friend and son for part of the time.

Just need a clean room (hopefully with my own bathroom but happy to share any clean bathroom).
