Seeking a room to rent, preferably ensuite

I am a 53 year young man, I work in Stowmarket and would like to live locally, preferably within 20 minutes drive and Bury side.
Lodgings or annex ideally, but open to what is on offer.
Generally out of the house at 7.30am and returning around 6pm.
I like to be able to walk to local shops, pubs etc from accommodation, or have good public transport options.
I am ideally looking for a quiet, peaceful life, though it’s great to chat and socialise.
I can cook and am willing to keep things clean and tidy.
Open to non biting pets 😉
