Short to midterm let wanted.

Hi there! I am looking for an intermediate move, to be nearer my elderly mother, while I look long-term for a one-bedroom house of my own, in or around this area. I am currently renting a 3-bedroom house in Huddersfield and can provide a good reference from my landlord, who has known me for 25 years and has rented the house to me for nearly half that time. I have work and social commitments over in Huddersfield and other family in rural Derbyshire, so I will not be under your feet. My own furniture will be in storage for the time being, but I have my own mattress and a few beautiful lamps, which I put together before my sight started failing. I am now registered Partially Sighted but function brilliantly well with the help of my super magnified, gadget-gigs and my teeny, mild-mannered, assistant dog, Barney. I am a non-smoker, don't drink and I spend a lot of my time outdoors and with my mother, sister and/or good friends. At age 59, I am more or less retired now but am financially stable and am able to provide a deposit and the first month's rent upfront to secure any suitable property. I can also provide a guarantor as extra security because I don't register highly on credit checks as I have full PIP and no credit cards or mortgage, which I realise is unusual these days! Other than that, I sing in a Blue's/Soul Band and am in the process of setting up a Youth Foundation Charity for young people to get access to musical instruments and equipment and I volunteer in the Mental Health Sector as well as constantly studying and writing. I am very self-sufficient and unobtrusive, despite having had a busy social life and a successful career as a character actress for BBC Radio 4, amongst other many and varied jobs. I would like my own space and ensuite so that I can withdraw from time to time and contemplate the world. I also love to be around creative, thoughtful and lovely people. Some kind of garden/terrace/yard/outdoor space and to be away from nearby traffic and noise is a must. Where I am now is busy and I ran a pub previously, as well as having been an English and Drama Teacher before that and a successful gardener for half my life, so I am keen to embrace the silence and breathe in the country air. I don't care what ages/genders/sexualities/backgrounds et al people are or what they identify as; as long they aren't fascists! I just want somewhere safe, and peaceful to just be, and to live round good. kind, honest, creative, thoughtful folk. With that in mind, it would be great if, after the initial contact on here, interested parties would contact me via WhatsApp or leave a message and hopefully we will know straight away, by speaking to each other, whether we can happily share and thrive in a shared living space. I am looking to move by 10th June but am easy about it being into July if that is more convenient to you. I am easy. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you. It may be that I only need a place for a few months. but I would greatly appreciate if we could feel our way forward. I. e. If it works both ways, it may be that we could negotiate more time, perhaps until Christmas or even into 2025. Either way, I will ALWAYS pay on time, and will ALWAYS look after your space and your things like my life depends on it.
