CJ & MILES

I've lived in London for 3 years and I'm hoping to find somewhere I can settle for a little while. I work a lot - I have two jobs that keep me hectic, and I'm also working on part time PhD. When I'm not doing those things, I'm your typical arty type hipster, really. I love music, especially of the indie/rock/live variety; movies; art galleries; that kind of thing. I have a pleasantly active social life, but I like for that to happen outside of the place I live (unless it's a case of a dinner party type thing, I do like to cook!), and really I'm looking for a chilled out, relaxed place where I can live with other people and my friendly loaf-dog, Miles.

I've lived in shared accommodation forever, and think I'm a pretty decent flatmate (I would think that though, I suppose). I've always left places on good terms with new friends, and in general I'm a cheerful, happy-go-lucky kind of person. I work for an LGBT charity and I'm also a bit of an activist (more in the proactive do things kind of way than the stand on a corner shouting at people way) so I suppose if you're violently anti-human rights then we wouldn't get on very well. Also a bit of a bleeding heart leftist liberal, but I suppose that comes with the territory.

Miles is a bit 2-legs-good 4-legs-bad, and leans more towards being a cat than a dog (very pro humans, cuddles, light walks, more cuddles) but wouldn't be able to live with another pet, sadly.
